Join the Journey
On Sept. 22, we'll be launching our new sermon series, ‘Lamp to Our Feet’. If you haven't already heard, we're going to journey through the entire Bible in the next nine months. Each of our forty sermons in this series will connect to something that you've just read, or will be reading, in the reading plan attached below. I hope that you'll join us, whether by tackling the whole Bible or focusing on the New Testament portion.
We've also created a Facebook community chat called CHBC Bible Reading Group. It'll be a safe place to share your thoughts, interact with others, ask questions, and be encoruaged to keep reading. You're also invited to join us once a month for coffee and snacks at the church to chat about our reading adventure. Those evenings are listed as 'The Good Book Gathering' on the reading plan below.
Use the rest of this week to prepare yourself for the books of Genesis and Matthew with the following Bible Project videos. They are each about eight minutes long and a blessing for even seasoned Bible-reading veterans!
So buckle up! This is going to be fun. We hope that you'll make plans to join this adventure.
