CHBC Family Camp Day

Join us for a fun-filled day at Ness Lake Bible Camp on Saturday, October 24! We’ll spend the day enjoying outdoor activities, games, food, and time together. Whether you’re ready to tackle the climbing wall, try your hand at archery, explore in a canoe, or compete in some fun games, there’s something for everyone.

 3:00 p.m. — Ness Mess Cookies & Goodbyes"

Cost is $15 per child and $20 per adult

CHBC White Cross Work Session

Saturday, October 24

10:00am–3:00pm in the Church basement

Everyone is welcome to join us! No sewing experience is required, and there are a variety of ways to help. Drop in whenever you can or come for the whole day. There is also an opportunity to win a door prize!

NAB Missionary Opportunity:  Jeff & Sonya write: “One of the things we have been praying about, for a long while, is the raising up of more workers in this field (cf. Matt 9.37-38).” The position is with the NAB. Contact Caryn Young, cyoung@nabconf.org.at the NAB International Missions office if you believe God is directing you to serve in missions.

Gaynaako– Cameroon, Nigeria

Working among a small minority (less than 2%) of followers of Christ among a Least-Reached People Group (LRPG) of over 44 million people living in the Sahel Region of Africa, including Cameroon and Nigeria, a Gaynaako is a shepherd, who will seek to build up and strengthen the diaspora communities among the LRPG, living among them, increasing their capacity to reach the unbelievers among their people group. The egalitarian shepherd will serve as the liaison between the Iimaniya and the NAB, and will be a good communicator, both verbally and in print.

You will live alongside experienced Waynaaɓe (shepherds), both western and African, humbly open to learning other cultures and languages, being physically and spiritually able to travel and visit in the various diaspora communities, offering biblical insights respecting the challenges being faced by those communities. Any and all other skills and abilities the shepherd may have (e.g., in the areas of accounting, agriculture, carpentry, education, electrical, engineering, health, law, plumbing, etc.) can be utilized in this field if the Lord wills, in either formal or informal venues.

Live Nativity December 11th and 12th 2026

We are planning to host our bi-annual Live Nativity Production this December. In order to make this happen, we need people to help. God has given the Body of Christ many different talents and abilities, and we need all of them. This production needs 50- 75 people to be successful. All ages from toddlers to seniors and people with all abilities have a role they can play. 

Needs include:

• Production planning help from now until December. 
• Actors 2-3 practices, 1. dress rehearsal and 2 nights Production
• Choir, Saturday Morning Practices, dress rehearsal and 2 nights. For Production 
• Some donation items like baking and fire pits
• Behind the scenes help for the production on December 11th and 12th.
