Services on Sunday Morning

This Sunday morning, February 16th, there will be two services here at College Heights Baptist Church at the regular times of 9 am and 10:45 am. With many of our people registered to be at Ness Lake Bible Camp for service that morning (there is not a’ just show up at camp’ option), we will not be having Sunday School or Children’s Church here at the church. The nursery will still be available.

Bible Reading Plan

The new schedule for our Bible Reading plan is out and can be picked up in the foyer or is available on our website.

Family Day Weekend Camp @ NLBC

CHBC is planning to run a family camp together with Garden City Church over the Family Day Weekend, February 15-17. This camp will be held at Ness Lake Bible Camp and will include times of worship, solid biblical teaching from our guest speaker (Cam Roxburgh), as well as some great recreational activities for everyone. More details will be shared soon and registration will open next week! 

Chain of Love Homes, Brazil (an NAB ministry partner):  COL Child Sponsorship: On Sunday, February 23rd, there will be a foyer table to discover more about sponsoring a child with Chain of Love Homes. Please prayerfully consider sponsoring a child. Sponsorship packages will be available. The financial contribution is $420 Canadian annually. Far beyond this; however, sponsorship allows you to develop an ongoing relationship with one of the COL children by exchanging cards, letters, and photos with your child. You will receive regular updates on the child’s well-being, activities, and prayer needs. All of the COL children need your prayers and if sponsorship is not possible for you at this time, you are welcome to visit the foyer table to receive a prayer package. Ness Lake Bible Camp

Family Day - Mon Feb 17 Bring your friends and family out for fun on the zipline, climbing wall, gym time and more! There will be fire pits with self-serve hot dogs, s'mores and bannock. Spring Break Day Camp - Mon Mar 17-21 There are only a few spots left for this awesome day camp for 7-12 year olds during spring break! Bussing to and from camp is included if you wish to sign up for that as well! Drop off and pick up location is Lakewood Alliance Church parking lot. Men’s Ministry

The men’s Bible study meets on Wednesday, January 8th at 7.00 pm at the church. We continue in the study of the Gospel of Matthew, and close each study praying for each other. Looking forward to seeing you. Dave and Bob
