White Cross Work Session

Saturday, April 11

Church Basement Please join us for a day of working on White Cross projects! It will be a great time of fellowship, complete with coffee, tea, snacks, and a chance to win a door prize. You are welcome to stay for the full day or simply drop in whenever you can.

The Ladies Monday Night Bible Study is inviting all ladies to watch the movie The Case for Christ on Monday night, April 13th here at the church starting at 7 pm. Bring your own snacks.

Missionaries Coming to CHBC!

Bruce & Raewyn Wiebe are missionaries working with Wycliffe Bible translators that College Heights Baptist Church supports. They will be in Prince George from April 10th to the 12th. Darren & Esther Child are hosting a Dessert Night at their home, 6806 Westmount Drive, on April 11 Saturday night at 7 pm. It will be a fun fundraiser for them to help them raise support. Please RSVP by texting Darren at 778-580-5575.

REAPS Clean Up

CHBC will be participating in the annual citywide spring cleanup, sponsored by the City of Prince George and R.E.A.P.S. (Recycling and Environmental Action Planning Society of Prince George).

Please plan to help out after our services on 26 April. We’ll meet downstairs for some pizza before heading out. We will provide trash bags and gloves. Please dress for the weather as the clean-up happens rain or shine.

You can decide how long you want to pick up litter – every little bit helps! We will have designated routes, but you can also go and do some outside cleanup anywhere else in the city that works for you.

If you have the opportunity, please sign up at the table in the foyer. That is just so we have an approximate estimate of numbers for pizza – you can have pizza and clean the city whether you sign up or not.

Prayer is the theme!

Child Evangelism Fellowship: Attached are the CEF April and May Prayer Calendars as well as the Spring 2026 Newsletter. Please remember Betty Andrews, the Prince George and area Director as she and her team of volunteers serve children in the STEM Club. Betty retires on May 31st. Please pray for her as she transitions to this new life after 50 years of ministry! The Spring Event Dessert Night on April 24, 6:30pm is at Lakewood Alliance Church. RSVP by Monday, April 20 by emailing Betty at bettycefbc@gmail.com

2026 Day of Prayer for Camp: CHBC supports missionaries at these One Hope Canada camps: Ness Lake Bible Camp and Roseau River Bible Camp. May 31st is Day of Prayer for Camp Day. INTERVARSITY CHRISTIAN FELLOWSHIP, Prince George is raising money to help send students from UNBC to our annual Spring Scripture Camp at the end of April. Our hope as a Campus Ministry is to bring between 10-20 students to Spring Camp and to provide financial aid for every student that wishes to attend. The Auction will take place April 11, at 6:30 pm at Fort George Baptist Church:

· Testimonies from past and present students about the impact of Scripture Camp and InterVarsity

· Hear from one of our Provincial Campus Directors about the ministry

· Live Cash/Cheque Auction of various baked goods
