CHBC Cleanup

The annual Spring Cleanup of church grounds and building will be held Saturday, May 9th from 9am till Noon. We will be raking leaves, cutting brush, and cleaning eavestroughs among other things. We will supply the tools. Please dress for the weather, enjoy some great fellowship and help us tidy the church for the summer.

Men’s Morning Out (Ladies Morning Off)

To the men of CHBC, On Saturday, May 9th from 9-12 come to Cedar’s Christian School for some fun activities (dodgeball, basketball, crafts, snacks, prizes and more). Bring your kids! Lunch by donation. RSVP to men@mychbc.ca or sign up in the foyer. 

Dave & Crystie Tarr – Nordegg Church, AB: Catch up on what is happening with Dave and Crystie, as you read their attached newsletter. They are reasons to celebrate; however, they have shared the need for much prayer. Please take the time to read their attached newsletter and commit to praying for them. They have also included their email addresses in case you wish to reach out and encourage them.

Dayna Penson, Program Director, NLBC: Dayna’s newsletter and update on NLBC is also attached. It is a busy time of year as Dayna and the staff as they gear up for another busy summer. Please pray:

• for overall health - as months get busier, sickness tends to show up
• for Dayna’s leadership as she goes into leading a team this summer
• that as Dayna comes into the next four busy months, that she finds a balance between work and family
• for an increase in her financial support. Dayna’s newsletter has a QR code to partner in her ministry. Please prayerfully consider this.
