The Big, Giant Garage Sale is coming!

Our youth are teaming up with other churches across the community to make this an epic garage sale fundraiser on May 2nd at College Heights Baptist Church!

As you do your spring cleaning, we would love your help. If you have items in good condition that you no longer need, consider donating them to support our students. The youth have a sea can parked at the church and are happy to collect donations anytime leading up to the sale.

We can accept almost anything except large appliances.

Every dollar raised will help send students to May Camp in Kelowna, a life-changing youth conference where teens grow in faith, build friendships, and encounter Jesus in powerful ways.

Thank you for helping make this a huge community effort and investing in the next generation!

REAPS Clean Up

CHBC will be participating in the annual citywide spring cleanup, sponsored by the City of Prince George and R.E.A.P.S. (Recycling and Environmental Action Planning Society of Prince George).

Please plan to help out after our services on 26 April. We’ll meet downstairs for some pizza before heading out. We will provide trash bags and gloves. Please dress for the weather as the clean-up happens rain or shine.

You can decide how long you want to pick up litter – every little bit helps! We will have designated routes, but you can also go and do some outside cleanup anywhere else in the city that works for you.

If you have the opportunity, please sign up at the table in the foyer. That is just so we have an approximate estimate of numbers for pizza – you can have pizza and clean the city whether you sign up or not.

Men’s Morning Out (Ladies Morning Off)

To the men of CHBC, On Saturday, May 9th from 9-12 come to Cedar’s Christian School for some fun activities (dodgeball, basketball, crafts, snacks, prizes and more). Bring your kids! Lunch by donation. RSVP to men@mychbc.ca or sign up in the foyer.

Dominic Villeneuve, MAF Update: Many of you know that for many years I have relied exclusively on a motorcycle for transportation here in the Congo. In recent years, however, Bunia has grown rapidly, and with that growth has come a dramatic increase in traffic—more vehicles, higher speeds, and far greater unpredictability. After much prayer and consideration, it has become clear that continuing to commute on two wheels is no longer a safe option. For the sake of long-term health and safety, I am now seeking to raise funds for a ministry vehicle that will allow me to travel safely to and from the hangar and continue my daily work without unnecessary risk. Reliable and safe transportation is not a luxury here—it is essential for sustaining the ministry. I invite you to prayerfully consider partnering with me by contributing toward this ministry vehicle, so that I can continue serving faithfully in the DRC for many years to come. Help fund Dominic's Vehicle Fund | Micha School Compound
