Tuesday, May 26 at 7 pm. Come prepared to consider a proposal from the Elders. This can be found on our church website.
Church in the Park!
On June 14th we’re moving our Sunday morning worship service to Lheidli T’enneh Memorial Park where we will join with other churches as we participate in the annual Church in The Park service!
The service starts at 10:30am and after the service we encourage everyone to stick around for some fellowship! Food trucks are available for you to purchase lunch and there will be lots of great bouncy castles for the kids! So bring a lawn chair or blanket, as well as maybe some sunscreen or an umbrella and come and be part of this wonderful service where we celebrate unity in Christ!
Prayers for family & missionaries
Dominic Villenueve, MAF, DR Congo: CDC Africa has declared an Ebola outbreak in the Ituri province, Democratic Republic of Congo. Because MAF is based in the provincial capital, Bunia, we are activating our normal Ebola Management procedures. All MAF staff are healthy and taking the necessary mitigating precautions. Flight operations are being conducted in strict adherence to recommended policies and procedures to ensure passenger and crew safety. We continue to monitor the situation and adapt our response accordingly. Please pray for those that have been impacted by the resurgence of Ebola, and for quick containment and elimination.
Betty Andrews, CEF: On May 31, 2026 Betty will retire after 50 years of serving with Child Evangelism Fellowship. Her thank you letter to our church family is attached.
Lyndell Campbell-Requia – NAB Seminary, Brazil: Lyndell’s May newsletter, which is attached, gives us a glimpse of what her and Paulo have been doing since we saw them last November.
Taylor Kofoed, IVCF, Prince George: CHBC supported Taylor for his eight-month contract with IVCF as a Campus Associate. He provide the attached detailed update. Take a few minutes to discover how IVCF impacted university students’ lives through 2025/2026.
